About Me

Who am I?
My name is Lars Krumme, and I’m a web entrepreneur, blogger, SEO consultant and (reformed) PR hack.

Since 1997, all my income can be tracked to one of my many online efforts, whether it be starting two web-based Video Conversion and Live Webcasting services (MemoryHub.com and OnlineVideoService.com); managing multiple web development and design projects in the financial, healthcare and non-profit fields; consulting on online marketing/SEO projects; or making money through niche blogs & affiliate sites.

Who are you?
You are a small business owner a bit late to the party struggling with the idea of social media, search engine optimization and blogging, and how to harness these trends to impact your bottom line.  You are a wanna-be blogger who has yet to get off the sidelines and into the action, and need help in getting started.  You gave up on blogging “because you weren’t making any money”, and are wondering if maybe you gave up too soon.  Or maybe you are someone who wants put in some hardwork over the next 2-3 years and begin down the road to financial freedom.

What can you expect from this blog?
Started in May, 2014, this site will track my activities in creating blogs and niche sites that generate revenue through advertising and affiliate programs. I hope to provide a blueprint of my experiences for those readers who decide to undertake their own journey in making money online. This blog will cover basic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies, how to get started creating a blog or niche site, different advertising and affiliate programs or products you can use to generate revenue on your site, and different strategies for developing and targeting content for your blogs or websites.

This website is NOT intended to be another “Make Money Online” blog.  There are too many of these sites already out there, although few from people actually making money online.  You won’t find Adsense ads plastered all over this blog, although I do have select affiliate relationships setup with providers of services which I have found to be userful throughout my network of sites, and which you should probably use if you are serious about making money online.

How can you participate?
Above all, please take the opportunity to comment on a few posts.  Refer readers to relevant content you may have created or found elsewhere on the web.  Make suggestions on other content you’d like to see.  Send me a guest post that you think would be relevant to this community, and I’d be happy to post it if I agree.

And if you’d like to reach me directly, you can do so at lars (at) larskrumme.com. Happy reading, and good luck with your online efforts!
